“A Computer terminal is not some clunky old television with a typewriter in front of it. It is an interface where the mind and body can connect with the universe and move bits about it.” Technology advancement has affected every sphere of life especially education. This has changed our perception of what a school should provide for its students Computer learning at DSPS starts right from junior section where the tiny tots get the exposure to the technology through play way method using audio, video and animation effects.
In times of booming technology the computer labs at D.S.P.S provide the appropriate platform to the students to be future technocrats. The computer labs are used not just to sharp the skills but also provide an exposure to the novices. With two main labs which cater to the needs of senior, middle, junior sections, the labs also provide facilities to the students to show their talents, logics and skill. Each lab has 20 computers. In the Middle and Sr. wing, students are taught concepts of Flash, HTML, Visual Basic, MS Office, C and C++ at various levels which prepare them to face the tough challenge of computer world later on. It is in these labs that the teachers also get the facilities to learn while they work in their separate labs on the computers.

Geography is not an arm chair subject it specialises in the development of qualitative and quantitative research skills in the school. Geography lab plays a pivotal role in enriching geographical base of a student- a necessary part of learning that exposes student to full spectrum of disciplinary subfields- physical, human and nature society geography as well as geographical techniques. Learning of Geography involves lot of practical knowledge to provide ample opportunity for the students to observe and learn concepts and Facts easily.
To accomplish all, school has maintained a well-equipped lab which helps the students to know the exact location of states, countries, ocean etc. Our lab contains all maps (physical as well as political) charts, globe, tracing table etc. It is the place for students to study the natural Occupancy with the help of GPS and GIS available on net. 3D models facilitate the study of this subject and enhance the comprehension of students.
Through such practical approach geographical information becomes more meaningful and relevant to the student day to day experience and the total effect upon learning could be over lasting

Psychology plays an important role in our daily life. It helps to explain why people act the way they do. A psychologist, with his professional insight can help people in improving their decision making, stress management and behaviour based on understanding of their past behaviour. The main aim of a Psychology Lab is to provide facilities for conducting experiments and Psychological tests without which the study of Psychology is incomplete. In our Psychology lab students can conduct experiments related to their course. This lab is also used by School Counselor. It accommodates Psychological Equipments which are used to perform experiments to learn about Psychological phenomenon. Several tests are there to help students get a clear insight of Intelligence, Aptitude, Emotional Intelligence etc. Psychological tests and practical exams are administered and conducted in a student friendly professional environment.

Mathematical Knowledge which cannot be translated into practice is a useless burden and therefore students of Mathematics are given proper opportunities for integration of theory with practice. Mathematics laboratory play a significant role in this direction. Our laboratory is well equipped with different types of pictures and charts, models, weighing and measuring instruments, drawing instruments, useful material concerning other subjects etc.
